Julie Goodnight conducts horsemanship clinics for all disciplines (English and Western) and all ability levels, at various private and public facilities in North America. Clinics are fun and active, with a focus on bridging natural horsemanship techniques with the principles of classical riding. Julie’s teachings are focused on finding success and improvement for each and every horse and rider by developing a deeper understanding of the horse and riding skills that lead to a balanced and rhythmic rider and a light and responsive horse.
Clinics are Saturday and Sunday, 8:30a-4:30p, and there are a maximum of twenty four riders in the clinic. Expect to work together in the arena all day, doing both ground work and mounted work, with a focus on refining riding skills and developing a better relationship with your horse. All ability levels are welcome as long as the rider has basic control at the walk and trot. Each rider works at his/her own pace without pressure to go outside you or your horse’s comfort zone. If you are under 16 years of age and would like to participate as a rider in a clinic, please contact our office to speak with us at 800-225-8827. You may bring two horses if you want to; the only additional charge is for stabling.
