We recently heard of a tragedy in the equestrian community here in Colorado. One of our own, a 36-year-old woman named Laura Miller, was killed by a lightning strike as she rode her horse on a trail in Colorado this past Sunday. She was riding with a family friend when it happened. The friend survived the lightning strike.

We send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Laura Miller. Please know that the equestrian community of Colorado mourns with you.

We welcome you to leave a comment of condolences to the family below.
