Douglas County Sheriffs and multiple fire departments responded to a barn fire in Franktown, Colorado at Hidden Pines Farm near Russellville Rd. and CO-83 this morning, November 27, 2023. Our hearts go out to everyone affected, Hidden Pines was the home base to Sarah Watson with Watson Equestrian LLC, and barn owner Dana Vollbracht, along with their incredible clients and barn family. One person was hospitalized and multiple horses passed away.

The official link to donate to this cause is through CHJA (Colorado Hunter Jumper Association). Please be cautious if you find other donation links. As horrible as it seems, sometimes people take advantage of tragedies like this one to create fake fundraisers that the intended recipients never see the raised funds from, and to ONLY donate through official fundraisers.
